Add Google Analytics to your CubeCart shop

Google Analytics is am extremely powerful (and free!) tool that allows you to view and analyse data about your website's performance.

Analytics gives you access to information such as:

* How your customers found your CubeCart store
* What they looked at whilst there and for how long
* What keywords were used to find your store
* How many times each page/product in your store has been viewed
* The geographical location of your customers/visitors
etc.

All of this information is so valuable to you as a shop owner because by analysing it you can tailor not only the design and setup of your website but even your products and services to match what your customers like best, and therefore maximize your sales.


Before ordering this service it is best to set up a google account (or log in to your existing account if you have one) and add your site to their service by using the 'Create New Website Profile' on the main analytics page.

After adding your website domain (i.e. www.mywebsite.co.uk), the Google Analytics website will provide you with a 'tracking code'. Copy this code to a notepad (.txt) file or in to a draft email.


For us to add this tracking code to your CubeCart store, we need you to send us the following info via email:

1. Google Analytics tracking code
2. Your FTP login (or CPanel login) details provided by your webhost
